Ilorin

General Information

Ilorin is the present day capital of Kwara State in the North Central Region of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. It is a pre-dominantly Islamic City. The primary ethnic group of Kwara State is Yoruba, with significant Nupe, Bariba and Fulani minorities. The Ilorin Emirate comprises of five Local Government Areas: Ilorin West, Ilorin South, Ilorin East, Asa and Moro.
